Answer: Some apps offer you to earn for free. Some require you to invest something, but usually they scam afterall and disappear with your invested money. It happens because of two things: weak project economics (Ponzi scheme or financial pyramid in other words) and absence of any sort of responsibility (welcome to WEB3).

Question: What is different between custodial/non-custodial wallets?
Answer: Main difference is about the degree of control of your wallet. Custodial wallets require no secret phrase, it is stored on the side of your custody/provider. While having non-custodial wallet means your full responsibility for storing your secret phrase safely as it is primary key for accessing your funds. But no one can block your funds anyhow.

Question: What are crypto networks and currencies (tokens)?
Answer: Long story short: networks define how transactions between wallets work (protocol), while currencies are tokens that are implemented over these protocols. It means following:
- Currency/token can represent similar identity in different networks (can have same ticker like $USDT for example, and have the same value over multiple networks)
- Sending single type of currency through different networks will lead to permament loss of funds! That is because network protocols are different, despite the same identity of a currency/token.
